Radhe Bol
A Joyous Dance/Chant Celebrating the Interplay of Divine Masculine & Divine Feminine

The soul has a natural yearning for spiritual awakening...
to be re-united with the Source from which it has become separated

This mantra is a tribute to the legendary Hindu avatars of Radha and Krishna. Radha is a milkmaid who represents the embodiment of perfect human devotion to the Divine. Govinda is a name for Krishna which means "the one who tended the cows". Bolo is "sing the praises of." The love between Radha and Krishna is the ideal of Love, absolute surrender of individuality in the case of Radha and absolute divine grace in the case of Krishna. Radha's yearning for union with her beloved Krishna can be seen as the soul's longing for spiritual awakening, to be re-united with the Source from which it has become separated. The divine interplay between Krishna and Rada symbolises "Spirit and Nature dancing together". [Dance originator: Philip "Tansen" O'Donohoe]

Spiritual Stillness - Let Me be a Channel for Peace!

October 4th is the Feast Day of St. Francis, Patron Saint of Animals & The Environment
From "The Prayer of St Francis" - "Lord, Make Me an Instrument of Thy Peace!"
"Dying" to the egocentric experiences of struggle, self-inflation or victimhood, opens us up to the soul-full experience of "eternal life". In this sacred circle dance, the life of the soul is symbolised by coming into UNITY (back-to-back with "another") to form an "angel". The angel's wings are formed by our outstretched arms (reaching out to, and flying along on, the spiritual life).

"Beauty Is Eternity!"

Beauty is a spiritual quality, not to be confused with "prettiness". You can programme a computer to recognise "pretty" but you cannot programme it to recognise "beauty". It is the spiritual soul within us that can percieve beauty. When we connect to Beauty we connect to our own eternal soul!

Dance lyrics from ‘The Prophet’ by Khalil Gibran. Music and movements: Nickomo Clarke

Human beings have vital needs: to be loved, feel secure and feel valued. When these needs are not met we start to rage and react - against ourself for letting ourself down and/or against other people, "God" or "Life" for not meeting our needs.

As we spiral down, we focus more and more on the negative: "What is "not working?", "Who/What is "acting against me?".
The downward spiral into negativity and victimhood sabotages our creativity to find a new way forward. We sink deeper and deeper into a rut of misery!

As the old wisdom goes "When you find yourself in a hole - STOP DIGGING!" THE NEXT STEP: is to begin to find the way to climb upward and outward via reconnecting to BEAUTY!
